Beehive Co-Op

I've been meaning to check out Beehive Co-Op for about a year now. You can't seem to read an Atlanta Daily Candy entry without it being mentioned. So this past weekend I made my way over to the north side of town. Beehive Co-Op is located a few blocks north of the High Museum on Peachtree and is stocked with great items (clothing, bags, pillows, jewelry, soaps etc.) designed and produced by local artists. Some of my favorite products included hand-woven pillows, a high-waisted tweed pencil skirt, a fishy cube soft toy and minimalist jewelry.

On top of all the great inventory, the store itself is bright, cheery and well-designed. It also has a workroom in the back where a number of craft/sewing classes are offered.
For those of you not lucky enough to live in the Atlanta area, you can also shop online at www.beehiveco-op.com.

Truly cool place shop. And wonderful collections too!

Oh, and I noticed you listed my humble blogplace on yours, I'd do the same with yours too - to quote vintage bunny "neat place". :-)

Yeah, it's pretty neat. I'm even willing to fight the traffic on Peachtree to take anything trip to the store.

Thanks for the link Lynn!
