That's what I would call this particular item of clothing. I spotted it at Zara a few months ago and fell in love with it immediately. I have no idea what possessed me to buy it, but I'm glad I did. It's so comfy and appropriate for meeting-free work days. I'll probably wear it with a thin, black turtleneck and boots when it gets colder.

Moo Moo/Dress from Zara, tights by Eurotard, and Target pumps.

Definitely a wise purchase, lady. It's highly romantic, and utterly gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteCute dress! I think it'll look great with boots!
ReplyDeleteI can so see that with a dark jacket and boots/leather leggins.
ReplyDeleteOooh, full marks for a perfectly executed MooMoo! I didn't know it was possible, but you look amazing. What an inspiration...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a hidden treasure you find when you give it a chance in the fitting room. Excellent choice! :-)
ReplyDeleteMoo Moo. It sounds cute.
ReplyDeleteI think we spell it mu'u mu'u down here.
Sal, I'm so glad you think so, because I got some stares when I wore it ;).
ReplyDeleteJune, boots it is!
Franco, a dark jacket is a great idea and it means I have to go shopping ;) !
Mrs. r, you're so sweet! The best part about the dress is that it's so comfy!
Terri, you're so right. I was doubtful when I first picked it off the rack, but after trying it on and realizing I didn't have to suck in my stomach while wearing it made it a winner!
Hot Bot, mu'u mu'u is technically the correct term, but I choose to go with the slang version ;).
Oh I love it! Especially the detail- it reminds me of ric-rac. It may be moo moo-ish, but it's an absolutely perfect moo moo and you pull it off well.
ReplyDeletelove that dress!! too adorable :)

ReplyDeleteooooohhhhhhhh. i just noticed that your banner changes when you reload the page. maybe i a leetle slow on the uptake and you did that weeks ago, but it looks awesome. bravo!

ReplyDeleteYou make that dress happen.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually really surprised everyone likes the dress - yay!
ReplyDeleteOctane guy, you're actually very observant! Lauren just added this feature yesterday. We have a total of four headers.
Songy, I totally forgot about that! Too funny!
In her twenties, yep! There's a Zara in Lenox. I hope they open up another location in midtown so I don't have to go to the mall to shop there!
Jinah, that is too cool. And the costume is awesome!
I take back all the terrible things I've said about moo moos. I think it's just an unfortunate word for an item of clothing not worn by cows.
