At long last – high-waisted shorts!

I've searched high and low for the high-waist. Apparently Atlantans haven't warmed to this trend just yet (our UO doesn't even have a pair- gasp!). I found this loud aqua pair from Clothing Warehouse in Little Five Points, L5P to you Atlantans. Clothing Warehouse is a beautifully edited thriftstore. The prices are sometimes steeper because of this, but not always. These beauties were $12. Huzzah!
ps- the tee I'm wearing is my new favorite! Cath got this from Phili a few months ago. It's super soft, cut perfectly, and I love the comb imagery (yup, that's what those black shapes are). The best part? The shirt is by Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction – is that not the best (mouth-full) name ever? They are like Threadless, but slightly more unique... in my humble opinion.

top: shirt, AITAOMR; shorts, vintage; sunglasses, UO; earrings, stall in Phili (thanks, C!); bangles, Dresscodes; flipflops, leather and quite sturdy (I forget the brand because it's long worn off... these are from 1999...wowza).
bottom: shoes (new! drooool), Max Studio

This little Asian Cajun looks HAWT!

I sent this blog post to dear Rachel and she immediately wrote back "Lauren MUST dress me!!"

Jenny, thank you! i love the color too and am so glad they were so bright... that's how I found them in a pile.

Tam Pham, believe me, I understand. Those are snaps, not buttons. If I eat too much the snaps pop open!

Alice, thank you!

Natasha, you are so sweet!

Miss Woo, totally!

Fashion Tidbits, awww thank you.. .making me blush ;)

Danz, I wasn't sure if I could pull them off literally. The waist is so tiny it barely fits over my hips!

Natey, so sweet! Tell Rachel any time ;)

Love the tee! And any version of Threadless that carries v-necks has to be better.

I love those shorts. I didn't know they had highwaists over at the Warehouse. Next time I'm at L5P I'll have to look.
