Just one more reason to love Drew Lewis: Jenny Phillipoff's Costume Party line. The dresses and tops remind me of something Carrie Bradshaw would wear - completely outlandish, but absolutely fabulous and not something that anyone else would have. I especially love the frilly, non-trendy details of each piece.
Here's what I'd wear with the dress above: small, simple black purse, black tube dress, and crazy black and gold platforms.
This pink dress is like the ultimate party dress. Maybe something Marie Antoinette would have worn in 2008 - or at least what Sophia Coppola's Marie Antoinette would have worn while eating Laduree macaroons.
I'd wear the pink dress with an itty, bitty clutch, pearl and gold jewelry, and pink shoes with bows on top.
Have a happy weekend!
PS: Thanks for all the great photo hosting tips.

gorgeous combinations. . i especially loveadorelust the pink shoes
The pink dress reminds me of Molly Ringwald in "Pretty in Pink." The first one reminds me of something seen in the 1940's. LOVE the collar! Ahh! Are these dresses just for kicks or are you going to wear them to a fancy ball?
good call on carrie bradshaw comparison...that first piece with the frilly neckline, perfection!
ooooh what fantastic dresses with perfect styling choices... makes me wish i had more events to go to where i could dress up in!

Songy, I'm more of a silver girl myself, but once in a while I'll go for the gold ;).
Sharon Rose, have a great weekend too!
P, I know those shoes are gorgeous. I feel like they're the perfect shoes for a modern princess.
Terri, the pink dress reminded me of Molly Ringwald too! I wish I had a fancy ball to go to where I could wear it!
Cupcakes and cashmere, I know! I want a top with a frilly collar!
we wear things, I feel the same way. I hate buying a dress and only wearing it once.
My heart melts for those wild black and gold platforms! They remind me of those rocking-horse shoes that old school EGL Harijuku girls wear!
The black dress and the golden high heels are so lovely.I like the golden clutch too.
I really like the pink dress. It's feminine, but not too girly at the same time.
Wow, that pleating around the neck and armholes is superb.
i LOVE the first dress,
but im not a fan of those old shoes
theyre a bit, well, too stripperish for me.
:/

The pink dress reminds me of the dress Blair wore in the last episode of Gossip Girl.
Camilla, I love them too for their retro vibe!
Mimi, the gold clutch is wonderful. I just wouldn't be able to put anything in it!
chic and fabulously, I agree. I love things that are feminine and modern.
enc, that's my favorite part of the dress.
anna shapiro, if I was wealthy enough to afford those shoes I'd probably wear them with black tights to tone down the stripperness. I'll add you to our blog roll today!
Terren, I think that's my favorite.
Savvy gal, actually it'd be so fun to wear that dress to a high tea somewhere!
Coco, I didn't see the episode, but I know exactly which dress you're talking about!
That pink dress is *amazing*
Those are some seriously awesome wedges.
a bit too sheer don't you think? but then you suggested the black tube dress, so i guess it's okay :P
