Off to see OBAMA!!!

Happy Inauguration, Everyone!



We're heading up to D.C. this weekend to mingle with the millions of other excited citizens come Tuesday.

We plan to blog and twitter from Cath's Mac Sunday through Wednesday and keep you posted about all the Inaugural going-ons! Let us know if you'll be in town too!

Here's a few more !!!!! because we are that excited!!!!

    So--HOW WAS IT?! I couldn't watch. I had to listen to NPR on the way home from lunch, and only heard snippets of his speech, but I cried in a sudden epiphany moment!

    As fellow Asians, perhaps you would appreciate hearing my audio essay, an emotional response to the momentous occasion of his inauguration, significant to all ethnic minorities of this great nation...

    (There is a transcript of the essay as well, but I think the audio is more moving since it includes a large clip of the President's speech--the clip I heard that made me cry.)
