Nash-Vegas


I'm wearing these post-trendy booties out until it gets to humid down here. I think they look a lot better with cut-offs than my ole flipflops will come June.

As for my preoccupation with Nash Vegas at the moment: Nashville is just one of the many cities in the south east I have yet to visit. So this past weekend I bought a men's tee with "Nashville" silk-screened across the front. It's a baby step/reminder of the necessary road trips that must happen this summer: windows rolled down, cicadas humming and gallons of iced sweet tea.

    I've been trying to go to Nashville since February!! Every time I make a plan, someone inevitably flakes out. If you ever need another person for your TN road trip, let me know!! haha

    have a blast! i haven't been to nashville yet, but friends of mine swear by it. i got to road trip down to memphis a few weeks ago and had the bes time! BBQ, sweet tea, live music, and a 5 am last call- that town is amazing!!

    Yay! Loving those shorts! I have some dark denim cutoffs that I need to bust out for the warmer weather that has thankfully arrived in NY!!! Funny you mention Vegas-- kinda. I'm heading there this summer! With my girls. And also going to a wedding in Hawaii and then off to Fiji for a week and change. Lots of fun activities ahead!!!

    i flew through nashville, bad airport. i attended a writing workshop at sewanee university two summers ago. this summer i'll be home though, and unemployed. it's an issue.

    Post-trendy? That's the best, it means you make it your own! Nashville sounds fun...I'm planning on Vegas this summer (just got back from Portland and the Oregon Coast on Monday), Toronto, a few local islands or two, possibly San Fran in september and New Zealand in Dec!!! can't wait, I live to travel :) and shop...bad combo for my wallet...

    roadtrips to the metros of the southeast are always divine! and you *will* love nashville. a favorite vintage store i like to visit is called 'flashback'- check it out for funky finds!

    We went to Nashville for a fam vacay when we were young and loved it! You'll love it when you go. You look fab and I love the fringe boots. I'm probably going to continue wearing my ankle and fringe boots throughout summer here! I only invested in one pair of new sandals b/c of that. :)

    Lar i love the boots with the shorts!! it's already humid here though.. i don't care i'm going to try to pull off my ankle boots for as long as i can.. and then maybe for photos only. lol
