J.Crew Eye Candy

I occasionally check out www.jcrew.com just to window shop the new items. The accessories in the fall preview section are especially eye-catching this season.

L to R: Italian Calfskin Jamie bag ($495), Spectator Mary Jane peep-toe heels ($228) & Crystal Spangle cuff bracelet ($150).

Juliet patent-leather midheels ($198) & two-toned shoes (price not available).
Satin fleur clutch ($98) & Lulu leather peep toes ($198).
The exorbitant prices should explain why I only window shop J.Crew and never buy anything.

Sorry for the tiny pictures. We've used up our photobucket bandwidth for the month and I'm too frugal to pay for an upgrade. Any suggestions on a better, free photo hosting site, fellow bloggers?

hmm, you can use tinypic.com to host your pics (they arent really tiny, promise!). the only thing is that you can't set up an account, so you'll have to remember the urls of your pics on your own. i'm also not sure how long they host a picture for, but it seems to be at least for a couple months. this may be a quick/free fix for larger pix?

Imageshack works great, you can set up an account. It's not very organized, I think, but it works just fine!

Ugh, those prices kill.. But some of the stuff is so cute!

Ah yes, I love Chanel, Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs but I can only afford to see & not buy anything from them :(

I don't seem to be getting sick of patent leather. Like, at all. Like, I want more. Like now. Those two toned ones are amazing.

those two-toned heels are amazing. they'd look good with a tan for now and then i'd pair them with super opaque black tights for fall.

I always just give photobucket a new e-mail address and start another account, when that one is full I go back to the original. ^_^
I do love JCrew's stuff. But the prices make me think "if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it..."

I get more and more impressed with J. Crew. Their style has definitely changed since I used to look at it.

I agree that the stuff is cute but on the expensive side. I don't know about you guys, but I actually am working two jobs (college professor and landlord) and I can't afford this stuff!

I definitely want a pair of wooden heeled pumps this fall. The vibrant colors are just gorgeous.

Seriously J Crew makes great expensive stuff that not many can afford.

Heidi, I've never heard of tinypic. I'll definitely have to check it out. Thanks!

Shen-shen, do you use imageshack? I wonder how long they keep the images. I know, the prices suck!

Yiqin, that's why there's internet window shopping.

Sharon Rose, I know! They're so feminine!

Songy, maybe f21 will have a good copy or something similar. Here's hoping!

Coco, JCrew always has the best photographs.

Becca, I do have a flickr account, but I couldn't find the html code. Maybe I just don't get flickr?! I hope not!

We wear things, I'll check out those two sites and see which one works best. I can't believe photobucket is so limiting.

Cammila, me too! I've loved patent leather ever since I got my first pair of tap shoes.

Cupcakes and cashmere, that's brilliant! And totally validates buying them ;).

the Clothes Horse - you're brilliant! I'll totally do that next time :).

Terri, I love Jcrew's blazers. I found one at a thrift store for $20 in perfect condition.

June Shin, I totally agree. I think they're branching out a bit.

Liz Blair, I definitely can't afford it - unless I saved up for a long time!

Anna, the two toned shoes are pretty fabulous.

Tina, I love the clutch. If F21 had one similar, I would get it.

Wendy, I like wooden heels too.

wendyb, yep!

moanique, I love it too b/c it reminds me of the bracelets coco chanel use to wear.

teresa, you are so right!
