Shoe Jewelry

Our loyal readers will know that we're big fans of Moxsie.com - and that's not just because they sent us some fantastic items. The site is a great source for undiscovered independent designers and it's constantly being updated. Litter is one of the newer jewelry brands on Moxsie that Lar and I just fell in love with. The line has a number of Erin Wasson-worthy body chains and bracelets, but my absolute favorite are the shoe jewelry pieces:

I'm desperately wanting a pair! Just imagine all the different types of shoes you can add these to. Mary Janes, pumps, boots, some strapy heels... Bah! Payday cannot not come any sooner.

Or maybe I should be fiscally responsible and do some diy-ing a la Lauren style. Remember how she added chains to her boots? They looked fantastic and cost about an eighth of Litter version.

But then again, isn't it important to support independent designers?

Decisions, decisions...

Oooo, love these. Chains on shoes are so in now. I might have to do a post on that too ;)

SUCH love. Queen Michelle of KOS got herself some bootstraps a few months back which sent me on a mad quest ... until I realized I wasn't ballsy enough to wear 'em. ;)

I adore! Though I'd have to make sure to walk without grazing the other leg...lest I leave a trail with my bleeding ankles, LOL.

Hotness I love it! I don't know if I would have the lady balls to pull off that look, but maybe for a show, hmmmmm. By the way, you won't believe what I did yesterday!....

DIY - I saw someone's tutorial on this trend and it looked easy. However, there is this Etsy store that sells like lacey cuffs for your ankles...they are expensive but so intricate, gorgeous and delicate!

Yes, I may have to invest in these! I was debating about whether to invest in spats as well, but I think I like the chains better. Still like Lauren's DIY job though!

Shoe jewelry! I think I'll leave that category alone. I've got enough to deal with as it is. Great pieces though.

I once came within an inch of buying like 5 or 6 different boot chains from some biker store. Look how hot they look! I probably should have gone for it.

Shoe jewelry--such an intriguing idea! It's like an edgier take on the good ol' days when women changed the look of one or two good pairs of leather shoes with shoe clips.

that shoe jewelry is so awesome!

Love LOVE the heels with crazy chain detail. I saw a similar pair on eLUXURY awhile back. Right now they're having an extra 50% discount on sale items. Plus, shop them through Ebates.com and get cash back on your purchase!

these would toughen up any pair of shoes, however i don't think i have the patience to work with chains for a DIY, too time consuming
