1.) For those of you who weren't completely creeped-out by the cult-classic Grey Gardens, you'll thoroughly enjoy The Beales of Grey Gardens. With the recent increase in popularity of the Beales (the musical is a hit on Broadway and a Hollywood version is in the works) documentarians, Albert Maysles and David Maysles, went back to their vaults and compiled a part two of the original. That means fans have over two more hours of Big and Little Edie wearing their costumes of the day, fighting it out and singing over one another. It's great.
2.) American Apparel has some great new styles out; two of which we purchased yesterday in the LP5 store: a jersey vest and a poplin dress.
3.) Marisha Pessl's Special Topics in Calamity Physics has been a best seller for a while, but we just discovered it and highly recommend it. Plus, it's now in paperback, so you can spend less and still have a great book to read.
