Our New Place

It looks scary and a little industrial in this photo, but we promise it's nice! We're growing up a bit and moving out of our entirely-furnished-by-Ikea apartment- Yippeee!

Cath and I are also super excited because we'll finally be walking distance to work and some of our favorite Decatur shops (like the heavenly, heavenly Cookie Studio- droooool).

We'll be MIA just a few days while we haul our stuff over to our new apartment and pray that comcast doesn't screw us over too badly.

See you on the other side of this mountain of boxes (that's where I'm perched at the moment). Happy (moving) Monday!

LL

Wonderful! It looks like one of the really cool places South of Market in San Francisco. Tres chic!

Strange how this economy is actually facilitating some good things for good people. I bought my first house this past February. Also tres chic, if I do say so myself.

Perhaps the best part of your post is that you're in walking distance of stuff. Au currant big handbags successfully conceal sexy shoes, in the event that you want to wear something more comfy to get from place to place. I put my shoes in a veggie or fruit bag from the supermarket so they don't get all my stuff dirty. Those little bags are so thin, they never add weight, and they rarely get re-used otherwise.

Ooh! That looks lovely. Is that the building next to Taqueria del Sol?

You'll have to let me know how you like it. Even though I'm in love with living in Virginia Highland at the moment, I've considered relocating to Decatur at some point.

Best of luck with the move!

Heyhey, good luck with the move, would love to see some photos of the interior once youre done furnishing.

With regards to the puffy ponytail, I just put it into a regular, not too tight ponytail and then pull up sections of hair through the tie/hairband at the top and sides of my head until it looks backcombed and i'm satisfied with the result. ok, that doesn't make much sense, but let me know if you're confused and i'll be happy to clarify :)

Ooh, sexy and modern! This is probably pathetic, but do you remember the movie Wayne's World? There's a part where they visit Rob Lowe's swanky, high-rise apartment with a breezy terrace, and that's TOTALLY what this makes me think of.

If I could sing, I would sing the "Movin' On Up" theme from The Jeffersons! I've tagged you both on my blog and would love to read your answers!

Walking distance to work is always a great thing. Until you work from home. Then it gets old.
