Last year all I wanted to do for my birthday was grill out with some friends, but I lacked a grill (and a porch-- and also it was November so it was kind of cold). So that would be my ideal birthday party as of now. It would also involve a lot of cake, hopefully (not grilled)!

That red necklace is so pretty!

What lovely pieces! Hmm my ideal birthday party would start off with a twilight picnic in the park near the Eiffel Tower in Paris, with plenty of good sushi and champagne for food and drinks. Then we'll move on to a salsa club where we'll dance to salsa, merengue, bachata, and reggaeton until 4 in the morning. Baskets of flats and flip flops will be laid out at all the guest tables so the ladies can whip off their dance heels and stilettos at the end of the evening.

My ideal birthday party would be to try any new restaurant i've been dying to go to, have a few bottles of wine, and just celebrate with my close friends.
Sharing new gossip would just top the whole night.

This necklace is so lovely... I'm already planning a few ideal ensembles for this fab piece : - ) So, don't leave 'em hanging, k?

So, on to my ideal birthday party. It would take place in New Orleans & it would involve a riverboat, rented out solely for me & my friends/family. There would be gambling opportunities, an ice luge, which would have yummy N.O. Hurricane cocktails flowing through it all night & lots of fun & dancing : - )

Oh, and you'd both be invited because I won this necklace!

Already dreaming...

XOXO

I love vaudeville and burlesque. Classic, artistic, sexy, butnot trashy. I would love a birthday party where all guests would dress up for dinner and enjoy both types of entertainment. I would wear a black dress a la Rosemary clooney in the nightclub scene of white Christmas. Ooh la la.

Love the June shin necklace and best of luck to everyone! It's fun to see all the birthday ideas.

bling swoon. i would make my party a fashion celebration on steroids. have a clothing swap with all of my ladies (eco-fabulous, non?) separate everything by category (shoes, purses, sweaters, dresses, vintage, etc) pick numbers and then SWAP! Everyone would be required to wear a fabulous hat and an appetizer.

We would also have a wine tasting contest (bring two bottles of the same wine, everyone scores the wine, person who brough the highest scoring wine gets ALL of the twin bottles!).

Raffle prizes, good tunes, good times with friends. favthingsatl@gmail.com.

My ideal birthday party involves a yummy dinner that involves falafel, good friends, and games- almost any kind of game, from wii to board games to hide & go seek. And then: strawberry cake with lemon icing. Yum!

The necklace is super-cute!

So pretty! My ideal birthday party would be my closest friends going on my boat to a nearby island. This could happen - too bad my birthday is in December!

Though last year I had a "90's" birthday party which was SO much fun! We looked hideous though.

LOve that etsy store!!

Wow, cute necklaces! For my birthday party, I just want to recreate Alice in Wonderland tea party completely and everyone wears something that's inspired from the movie! I think that would be a lot of fun! xxoxoxoxxo

Is this open to international contestants? :) My perfect birthday would involve a huge group horse-riding trek to end up on a beach, have a barbeque there and frolick in the waves then get driven back home to continue the party there! Basically, forcing everyone to do what I like to do, hahaha xoxo

What an absolutely beautiful necklace :) And yay for giveaways! My ideal birthday party would be a tea party with close friends and family. We would sit in the garden, under the shade of summer fruit trees, talking over cups of delicate tea. Oooh and I adore that last necklace too, the interlocking shapes are so lovely. Hope you're both having a wonderful weekend :)

First, I'd have to move my birthday to the spring or summer, rather than the lethargic weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. My perfect party would require a good southern night--warm, but with some breeze.

The best party I can picture would be to unite my favorite people, including those who live far away. We'd go a casual place with a nice porch*, and sit outside and eat and drink and talk for hours--just enjoying good flavors and one another's company.

Before departing, everyone would walk to a local park to goof around a little (and maybe sober up), and remind ourselves that we aren't really that old. Because it's my birthday, I get to use the good swings first, but I'd share. :)

Have a great birthday, ladies!
Sincerely,
Emily-Michelle's-roommate-from-ASC.

*speaking of casual place with a nice porch, many thanks for inspiring me to visit Leon's Full Service--I was enamored of both the porch, and the cocktail menu. Not to mention their fries were out of this world.

hmmm...turns out I was born on the same day of the same year as a certain set of twins that I know - does that get me an extra-special chance in the contest? one of my favorite birthday celebrations involved a huge vat of low country boil, lots of corn bread, and a big biscuit-topped cobbler made with fresh peaches & blueberries. and lots friends, wine & board games, of course.

happy almost birthday to us!

Happy birthday, June — and thanks for having a giveaway!

Food. LOTS of delicious foods... multiple dishes involving prosciutto. Live music, maybe Joel Plaskett or Josh Ritter. Good friends. Plenty of time to mingle and catch up. Throw in a frisbee, a swing set and maybe bowling... and we're laughin'.

What a lovely necklace! So dainty...

I'm tired of adult birthday parties so I would rent out a moon bounce, order pizza, bring cake and ice cream and bounce the afternoon away.

The best birthday for me would involve my three favorite things: food, fashion, and dancing. A little shopping spree before a Japanese izakaya dinner and a cupcake birthday "cake", then ending the day with sweaty dancing at some steezy club downtown. Plus a brand new piece of jewelry to incorporate into my outfit would be the icing on top of my cupcake *hint hint* ;)

My birthday is Sept. 1st and it always falls on or around labor day, so I get stuck with the usual barbecue and beer. But my goal in life is to plan a Mexican getaway (maybe Cabo) with the whole family. Complete with margaritas and a mariachi band! Fiesta, fiesta!

My ideal birthday party would be a masquerade ball...but much more casual than the fancy ones you see on tv. We would play exclusively rockabilly music and everyone would be dressed in their retro finest with animal masks. The party would take place in a small clearing in the woods and there would be yummy Japanese food to dine on. All my friends from the past, present, and future would be invited...

Beautiful necklace! My ideal b-day party would be have a Hawaii theme, since I don't have the money to go there. I would have everyone hula and have a video camera and try to fix hawaii food. I think that would be fun! Thanks jacquecurl1@gmail.com

My ideal birthday party would start off with brunch (complete with mimosas and bloody marys!) in New Hope, PA with my boyfriend and three or four other couples. We would walk around town, peruse the shops while sufficiently buzzed, then make our way to NYC in the evening to barhop, drink, and dance the night away. Lots of laughs, lots of happy birthdays shouted my way by random people, some free birthday shots from the bartenders...and just when I think the night is coming to an end, a giant cake is wheeled out and Kate Moss jumps out of it! A perfect birthday, indeed! Thanks!- Carla Ann carlaann76@hotmail.com

Love it!

My ideal birthday would be brunch at Murphy's with NO WAIT, followed by a glorious massage at Key Lime Pie.

Then to cap off an amazing day, a HUGE picnic [complete with short table, candelabra and wine glasses as I have seen others do!] at Screen on the Green. The real Screen on the Green in Piedmont Park. Food items to include cheese fondue and everything from Alons. Who cares what the movie is, right? Ah, the good old days.

Love the necklace:D:D

My ideal birthday would be simple; I just want to spend it with my darling for once;

It would be nice if he could actually sing the song for me in person; and fill the surrounding area with tons of sunflowers and helium balloons((:

It's too bad he's a million miles away from me; busy mugging for his midterms)):

My ideal birthday party would be something simple, with my friends (all of them) and family (all of them) around to celebrate with me. There would have to be really great food (cause we all love to eat) and music (such a big part of who I am) and I think that would be pretty darn close to a perfect birthday party.

I hope I'm not too late. My ideal birthday party is a house party :P Won't cost much versus going out for dinner/party.

My perfect party would be having all my friends there. Most live too far away to come hang out or are away at school during my birthday so I celebrate alone normally. Plus my birthday is in the middle of winter so its always a giant snow storm on my birthday it never fails then no one can come to my place.

I'm turning 25 in August and since I never got a sweet 16 birthday party, my ideal birthday would involve a "Super Sweet 16 + 9" extravaganza! I would wear a poofy/girly dress and the tiara that I've always wanted. The evening would probably be spent at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens with all my friends for a warm breezy summer night under the stars complete with some cocktails and art. I'd also have a super sweet tiered asymmetrical pink cake ^___^
