Around Town (ATL in October)

A few random images from the past couple of days.

Coffee at Octane: Why is Lauren reading Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning? She's not. In fact the only reason why she's holding the book is because we thought the colors on the cover complimented her outfit. Nice.

Bulldogs and lipstick: Spotted near the intersection of Ponce de Leon and Moreland.

Inman Park Goat: This goat was hanging out on the front porch of a large house in the Inman Park neighborhood. There was another goat resting nearby. We got the impression that they're kept to cut the grass and were patiently waiting to be let inside after a long day's work. Or maybe they are the family's pets?

Krispy Kreme Sign: Who can resist making a stop at Krispy Kreme when the hot sign is on? We definitely couldn't a few nights ago. On our way home we pulled over for some delicious Krispy Kreme coffee and original glazed - yum....

Hope you all had a great weekend!

The last pic...yeah. lol.
I don't get the random goat though, I guess I'm not used to seeing livestock.

Both random and delightful.

Haha, leave it to you guys to use a book as an accessory. Love it. And what? There was a goat in my neighborhood and I missed it? Dang.

That coffee shop Octane looks very cool. I love hanging out in great coffee shops like that. You guys looked really beautiful in the fashion show. It might be fun to be a "model for a day," kind of like being a queen for a day.

How funny that people have goats in their yard. That goat looks pretty cute. One memory that I have of goats was when I was a kid growing up in a small town suburb, our neighbor got a goat for their yard. I think it was mean and we kids were afraid of it. I remember it chasing us and us running away in fear. Maybe that's why they didn't keep it for long....

omg that goat is hilarious. maybe it belongs to the famous georgia "goat man"charles mccartney, a traveling preacher who roamed central Georgia in a goat-pulled wagon in the mid-twentieth century.

The picture of the dog with face with lipstick. I also took that picture two weeks ago when I was out and about. I thought the face looked like Sarah Palin.

Random indeed. That sign is hilarious. You know we don't have KK in Perth... it's tragic.
