A Delightfully Delectable New Coffee Drink

One of the best things about writing this blog has been getting to meet all you fellow bloggers spread across the world, as well as meet face-to-face with some inspiring people in our own backyard. Tonight our backyard was located in Whynatte Latte's headquarters (right by Grant Park, for you locals).

Whynatte wha wha???

Pronounce it "Why-Not-A" as in "Why not a latte?"

Whynatte is the caffeinated elixir invented by Jesse and Andy. It tastes like the best iced latte you've ever had, but with an additional boost of energy. And the best part is you can mix Whynatte with your favorite alcoholic beverage that you always thought belonged in your plain-joe latte. So far Cath and I have just tried Whynatte sans spiking, but they have a list of tempting recipes on their website for you to try.

For you locals, Whynatte is sold at Alons, Parish and other gourmet shops around the city. Those farther a-field can order some here.

We got a full tour and some lovely new tees from the Whynatte crew:

Me, the lovely Hannah and Cath; Jesse and Andy (geniuses behind Whynatte) and Dave the super-talented graphic designer.

Me and Cath sporting our new Whynatte tees.

Thanks for the tour and the jolt, Whynatte Team!

Fellow readers, if you get a chance to try Whynatte- let us know what you think and then upload your own pics to their blog.

That's so weird! I was at Parish this morning and someone there was just talking about how they carry Whynatte and that it's pretty good. I haven't tried it yet, but I have made a mental note. :)

So nice to have you girls by Whynatte's International World Headquarters yesterday! Not only does our 17 year old intern have an enormous crush on both of you, but we made managed to make some new friends in the local ATL hood. You're always welcome here at Whynatte HQ, so anytime that you're in the neighborhood feel free to drop by and grab a Whynatte Latte on the house.

Love the blog, love the gracious write up, and look forward to hanging with you girls in the near future (as in next Saturday).

Oh, and look out for a post on the Whynatte blog re: my favorite female duo in the ATL.

Coffee and alcohol together?! You girls are right - this must be the elixir of the gods. It is 11:19 pm in NZ. I'd be glad for this coffee alcohol bonanza right about now!

June, that is too funny that you heard about Whynatte at Parish. We need to make a trip to Parish together at some point. I'm addicted to that place!

Jesse, it was great getting to meet you too and I can guarantee you that won't be the last time we visit Whynatte HQ. Favorite ATL female duo? Well, shucks...we're blushing :).

Simply Steph, I agree. Redbulls are disgusting and Whynatte is delicious!

Ana b., if it's 11 pm in NZ, what time is it in ATL? 11am? Wish I could send you some Whynatte!

Ash, I think you'd Whynatte. I know they're distributing in the Athens area, so once you try it, let us know what you think!

Shen-Shen and Secretista, you should definitely give it a try!
