Ich Habe Genug

Taxes suck. They just really, really suck. Especially if you owe a little and you realize that your next few weeks of penny-pinching lines the (already far too deep and greedy) pockets of the AIG bastards ('scuse the French).

The upside? Realizing that a $220 blazer is not in the budget after all. Upside? Wait for it... wait for it...

I walked into my local Salvation Army today and got this dreamy white shoulder-padded number for less than 10 bucks!

And now I don't mean to be cruel because I love all of RVCA's stuff, but maybe I needed a wake-up call if I thought spending $220 on a blazer covered in lighting bolts was reasonable.

Ich habe genug.

dress by AA, blazer from Salvation Army, booties by Payless, sunnies and bag from Urban, attitude due to the economy

That is such a great find! I'm jealous of everyone that has a decent salvo/goodwill in their area cause mine seems to lack everything! It looks soo good!

Ooh fantastic find! It's so pristine too.

Argh I did my taxes recently and found out I owed a little too. I'm penny-pinching a bit harder and not shopping until April. >.<

I did taxes for the first time on my own last month and I agree, it blows. The blazer is awesome!

i think this might be the last year I get $$$ back from taxes...but i love your thrift find! I agree, RVCA Erin Wasson is a bit overpriced...it looks good in photos, but so much of it is DIY thrift-inspired...haha didn't she say she's inspired by homeless people?? (so many things wrong about that). but your outfit looks great.

awesome blazer!!!

Love the Erin Wasson stuff too. I love RVCA even without her. But I'm just going to wait diligently until I can get my hands on cheaper lightning bolts and high-rise back tank.

Who would've thought a little lightning could be so expensive? White with shoulder pads...doesn't get much better than that.

Ahaha! I know what you mean! Sometimes the best things in life are... $10!

p.s. the word verification for this post is "holitly"... which kind of reminds me of Holly Golightly--all in one word. I though it was funny...
