Jingle, Jingle

Cath got me this necklace at Mingei, one of our favorite local shops. I think it's from India and it has that awesome soft jingly sound. You can't do any sneaky sleuthing with it on, but it magically goes with almost everything in my closet. Add a breezy tunic, shorts and a margarita (on the rocks) in my hand, and I'm ready for my summer afternoon, post-work activities (these are basically nonexistent).

Very charming. I love Indian jewelry. One of my favorite pieces is a pair of earrings from India or at least Indian inspired! So chic. Purchased at a small shop in Paris for 3 euros. I would love to go there and just go on a shopping spree. Bollywood fever!

Pretty! You're spot on about how this necklace seems to go with everything--it's very versatile and distinctive and it works so well with what you have on in the photo. Very nice indeed.

Great minds must think alike -- because it's adorable! Also, I must add that your bag has to be my favorite shade of green. :)

Awww, you look like summer. I'm torn between the 80*+ humidity outside and the subzero freeeeeeeezing inside of my office.

The necklace looks a lot like the bell anklets that traditional courtesans/dancers wear in India.

I'm basing this completely off my extensive Bollywood DVD collection, though.

that jingle is such a cool sound. even if you can't have a margarita, you might as well be dressed appropriately just in case.

Ooh I love your bag! I wish I was going to be in town for the decatur arts festival, it's one of my favorites, but I'm going to China til June 3rd! I can't wait to shop in the big cities there, I'm definitely asiancajuns inspired for the comfortable warm weather outfits I'm planning on wearing :~)
