I love looking through city guides. I've planned whole trips and have found some of my favorite shops with them. So you can imagine how happy I was to stumble upon the Eat.Shop series. I found Eat.Shop Atlanta at a local bookstore. It has a great listing of locally-owned shops and restaurants and each page has a grouping of colorful photos from the featured businesses. Of course the guide is narrowly focused and doesn't include great landmarks like The Wren's Nest or the Cyclorama, but it would make a nice addition to anyone's travel-planning book collection.

Not only a great idea, a great design!
I know! I wish I had an image of some of the pages. The photos really pop out. Maybe I should buy myself a copy...
