Hot Hot Heat

After visiting June Shin's and Sally Jane Vintage's blogs I know I'm not the only one looking forward to fall weather and fall fashion. Unfortunately, living in the south I won't be able to wear any autumn fashions until late October. I have at least two more full months of shorts and tank top wearing. I'm not happy about this, but I'm going to try to make the best of it. The two street style shots below are helping me get re-energized about summer style.

Photos from Altamira, NYC and Face Hunter.

I love seeing how other people deal with the heat and keep stylish. I'm not quite ready to give up my summery weather though!

I live in Florida and I am ready to put on some fall fashion also. Well, technically I could now but I might pass out from heat exhaustion. :)

(On second thought maybe heat exhaustion deserves a sad face.) :(

I'm looking forward to fall fashion too, but still holding onto the last moments of summer. Love the 2nd pic inspiration!

I am very much looking forward to fall fashion as well. However, I do like taking advantage of the last moments of summer.
I love the second outfit!

Jill, I think I'd like summer more without the humidity - it's so thick here!

Stephanie, you are too funny! Yep heat exhaustion does deserve a sad face.

Sharon Rose, I love it too. Maybe I'll find something like it when i go thrifting.

cupcakes and cashmere, i know! I wish I could look so stylish when it's so hot out!

Pearl, I suppose I'll be complaining about the cold in the winter, so I should enjoy the summer!

Tina, you're not alone. That look seems to be the favorite of the two.

I see why! I'm loving both those looks! Although, does girl #2 have pants on? To me, that's a little odd-looking with all those layers on top. :]

I like these as well! Part of me is longing for tights and the other part is longing for ultra casual looks I can't wear to work! Ah, life...

I love summer, the bright clothes just make me happy...just like that first dress. Plus I'll take any reason to be able to wear mini-dresses. (Believe it or not, I actually turned an old band sweatshirt into a dress for summer and the beach)

I definitely know how you feel about the upcoming autumn season. It'll be a nice fashion change, but since I live in Southern California, "autumn" doesn't really come until October.

Loving the second shot though. Her layering is perfect.

I'm excited about fall fashion too. Except I know I'll get sick of the chill eventually, so I'm trying to enjoy the sweltering weather -- with limited success.

I always get excited about fall fashion even though it's pretty impractical wear on an island.

I LOVE jackets, coats, wool scarves, tights and gloves but I have to wear them at night because it's just too hot to wear them during the day!

We are just now getting a bit of heat. Second day in a row of 75+ degree temps. I can't think about fall yet either, as we'll be warm for about two months too.

I always wonder how people manage to look crisp and cool like these girls you pictured.

incredibly happy and relaxing shots. I specially like the second pic. yeah we always long for the next season during season's end. seemingly it drags on and on. While you're waiting for Fall I'm hanging out for Spring here and there is no sign of getting warmer.... ^__^

hope all of us could enjoy the remainder of the season!

ciao

Oh god, the weather is so unbearable~~ at least it rained today so hopefully it'll cool down. I get so jealous looking at Copenhagen Street Style and Oslostil and seeing girls in tights and sweaters.
