Pushing Daisies Style

I've only watched a few episodes of Pushing Daisies online and I already love it. The acting is great and the plot is entertaining, but it's really the set design and wardrobe that do it for me. Apparently the look of the show is heavily inspired by Amelie, which is one of my all time favorite movies.

The women in the show have the best outfits. Anna Friel, who plays the main character's love interest, is usually outfitted in very feminine dresses - with cinched waists, v-necks and 3/4 sleeves.

I've included this bottom batch of photos to show off the amazing set design. This pink house was only in one episode, but a lot of creativity and attention to detail went into its creation.

Anyone else a fan?

great show! ive seen a couple episodes online - if you miss them during their regular airtime, i recommend doing that (less commercial interruptions!)
Definitely Amelie, also seems to be a little Tim Burton/Big Fish inspiration.
